Watch Adam West Guest Star In An Episode Of Powerless

It’s a shame that Powerless had to get cancelled. Though the show really wasn’t that funny, I thought that there was a lot of potential for it to grow, given the fact that it had an interesting premise. At the wake of the death of Adam West, DC Entertainment has released an episode of Powerless where they got West to actually guest-star.

In the episode, West plays Chairman Dean West, a higher-up in Wayne Industries who tells Van Wayne (Alan Tudyk) to fire someone in the office. West isn’t in the majority of the episode, but I like all the callbacks to his Batman days as well as something very reminiscent of his Mayor character from Family Guy.

Besides this posthumous performance on Powerless, it’s also worth noting that West has finished his voicework for the sequel to the animated Batman: Return of the Caped CrusadersBatman vs. Two-Face. The series will continue the Adam West-style Batman and will have him confronting a Two-Face voiced by none other than Star Trek’s William Shatner. Interesting since West and Shatner were probably two of the biggest TV icons in the 60s.

No official release date has been set for Batman vs. Two-Face, but you can probably expect it to release sometime this year.
