A new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer has just dropped, and fans hope that it’s enough to get them hyped up for the movie before it comes out in May. Thanks to Mr. Sunday Movies on Youtube, fans can take a look at all of the other easter eggs and clues that they missed from the trailer.
In some blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments, it was actually revealed in the trailer that Yondu (Michael Rooker) will be usurped from his position with the Ravagers from Taserface, and there’s actually a shot of him holding Rocket hostage with his golden arrow.
Fans also get to see that Nebula (Karen Gillan) is still missing one of her hands — the reason for which was because she cut hers off in the first Guardians movie. It’s still unclear as to how she becomes affiliated with the Guardians, but it looks like she was a prisoner of the Sovereign — the group of golden people lead by Elizabeth Debicki — and they look to hire the Guardians in exchange for Nebula’s custody.
Other easter eggs can also be found like the retro football game that Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) has, and the hints that there will be a flashback scene with a younger Ego (Kurt Russell) meeting Quill’s mother.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters May 5.
