Tribute Video and Art For Star Trek Actor Anton Yelchin Celebrate His Best Roles

This weekend, we reported the sad news about Anton Yelchin's death, the 27-year-old Star Trek actor who died in a tragic car accident this past weekend. We've already seen his co-stars reactions on Twitter, and it didn't take long for Trekkers to pay their tribute to the young actor whose most iconic role is Pavel Chekov in J.J. Abrams' rebooted Star Trek franchise.

The first tribute is a minute-long video from JoBlo, and it highlights the talented actor's work in film. Check it out:

Here's another tribute by Tumblr user mrscratch0753, and it features Yelchin being greeted by Leonard Nimoy (Spock) and fellow fellow Star Trek actors Deforest Kelley (Dr. McCoy) and James Doohan (Scotty), who have already passed on.

It’s father’s day, and I have no real time to finish this, but I wanted all my Trekkie friends and family all around the world to have this.

See Anton Yelchin in Justin Lin's Star Trek Beyond when it hits theaters on July 22.
