Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) might not have been given his own standalone film trilogy in the Marvel Cinematic Universe like Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth), but Bruce Banner has had quite a journey in the franchise.

A fan has decided to celebrate that journey by creating a supercut of Hulk’s time in the MCU, and the video which lasts about four minutes is a surprisingly emotional homage to the Jade Giant.

Hulk had a pretty tough journey in the MCU. Bruce Banner started out as a meek man with a monster inside him, a monster he eventually learned how to control. Bruce, however, lost full control of himself in Thor: Ragnarok, allowing Hulk to remain as Hulk for about three years. Bruce was able to regain control of himself again, but when the story progressed into Avengers: Infinity War and the Hulk was beaten down by Thanos (Josh Brolin), Bruce couldn’t get Hulk to come out. Then, after the Mad Titan’s Decimation, Bruce and Hulk learn to coexist, creating Smart hulk.

Right now we’re not quite sure what kind of story Marvel has planned for the Hulk now that the MCU is entering Phase 4, but it’s likely that Marvel is going to move on to focus on Jennifer Walters, Bruce Banner’s cousin. Marvel just recently announced that it was going to develop a She-Hulk series for Disney+, so we’re certain that Jennifer is going to finally take part in the MCU.
