The Star Trek: Enterprise Fan Film That Took 3 Years To Make is Finally Here!


Can't wait to see Star Trek Beyond this July or that upcoming Star Trek TV series? If you nodded your head to that question, this feature-length fan film by director Tommy Kraft might help you satisfy your Star Trek cravings.

Since December of 2012, a crew of dedicated fans of Star Trek: Enterprise have been working on completing this film that pays tribute to a classic franchise. It's called Star Trek - Horizon, and here's the synopsis: 

The Coalition of Planets, a young alliance of worlds led by Earth, is at war with the Romulan Empire. Desperate for a chance to gain the upper hand in the war, the Coalition forms an alliance with T'mar, a Romulan deserter, in the hopes that she can provide valuable intelligence on her former masters.

As much as I enjoy Star Trek, the dialogues and acting here made me cringe a bit. There are some nice visual effects, and for the given budget, it's pretty impressive. I just hope that this fan film won't get a lawsuit from Paramount like what happened to the other Star Trek fan film, Axanar
