Tested: Watch Adam Savage And His Whole Team Build The Ultimate Collector Series Lego Millennium Falcon

Lego had just unveiled its largest lego set ever made in the form of the Ultimate Collector Series Millennium Falcon. The set is still set to come out later in October, but Adam Savage’s team on Tested was lucky enough to get their hands on a set, put it together, and compare it to the old UCS Falcon.

Check it out:

The set is so large and intricate that it took about 2 days and exactly 12 hours for Savage and his whole crew to put the entire Falcon together. I can’t even imagine how long it would take for just one person to complete the piece.

Compared to the old UCS Falcon, the sizes are the same, but the new model comes with customized pieces that make it come out smoother and more accurate than the old version.

Like the team suggests, there will be some purist collectors who will favor the older model complete with studs and improvised pieces, but the new model comes with a lot of new figures including original and sequel trilogy characters as well as different satellite dishes to distinguish between the old Falcon and the new Falcon.

The UCS Millennium Falcon is coming with a price tag of $799.99 in the US and is set to hit shelves on Oct. 1.
