Supercut of 10 Films in Oscars Shortlist For Best Visual Effects


2016 brought us a lot of unforgettable films with dazzling visual effects, but which do you think deserves the Oscars for it? Obviously big blockbusters like Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story made the list, but there are also films worth remembering such as Kubo and the Two Strings, Disney's BFG, Jungle Book, and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. All of them have visual effects worth highlighting so this category will be tough to judge at the Oscars. 

Art of Film put together a supercut that features footage from ten films that are eligible for this year's Academy Award for Achievement in Visual Effects. Only five of these films will actually get nominated on January 24. Watch the supercut below:
