Star Wars The Last Jedi: Watch Snoke's Scene Without CGI

The home release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi promises to bring us a lot of extras, including some behind-the-scenes footage. ComicBook has given us a scene from the movie which has Andy Serkis performing his Snoke role before it was all cleaned up with CGI.

Check it out:

A lot of people were reportedly disappointed when it came to Snoke’s sudden death in the film since the character had so much mystery surrounding him that was never revealed; why did he have so many scars? Why was he adept with the Force? All that speculation just cut in half all of a sudden.

I for one, am fine that Snoke wasn’t that well delved into. A lot of people forget that Emperor Palpatine, for years didn’t have a backstory, yet everyone was fine with the character’s existence in the original Star Wars trilogy. I’m fine if they choose to delve more into Snoke’s history in the future, but I don’t want it to segway from the main story that is Rey’s and Kylo Ren’s.

As for more behind-the-scenes looks, we should be expecting a ton of them to come with the home release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The release is promising over 2 hours of extra content, and I’m sure Andy Serkis’ work on Snoke is just the tip of the iceberg.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits digital March 13 and Blu-Ray March 27.
