Earlier this month, Disney and Lucasfilm announced the new animated series called Star Wars: Forces of Destiny, which sees the franchise's iconic heroines featured in stories we haven't seen in the films before. Now, a new clip featuring Rey and BB-8 in Jakku has been released, and they learned that getting the droid back to Niima Outpost won't be that easy. The animated short is obviously set during the events of The Force Awakens. Watch the short:
The facial animation looks ridiculous, and it just looks like Lucasfilm is scraping the bottom of the barrel for Star Wars canon now. For Star Wars fans looking for a good animated series right now, just settle with Star Wars Rebels. You can watch the Season 4 trailer here.
