Remember When Mark Hamill Invaded The Muppet Show As Luke Skywalker?

Nothing says nostalgia like Star Wars and The Muppet Show, and the two franchises have made a huge comeback in the past few years—The Muppets with their new movies, and Star Wars with a new sequel trilogy. Few people may actually be aware of this, but Mark Hamill had guest-starred on The Muppet Show as Luke Skywalker, and he brought C-3PO and R2-D2 along with him for the gig.

In the episode, Luke and the droids have landed on Earth, and they’re on a mission to look for Chewbacca. Mark Hamill also appears as himself for a bit, and he has this hilarious segment with Kermit and Fozzy. I have to admit, Hamill is one talented guy.

I have to say, Mark Hamill is such a good sport when it comes to things like this. He seems like an all-around nice guy, and he’s always ready to fool around. Han Solo may be a popular character, but I can never imagine Harrison Ford playing around with Muppets like Hamill is.

Mark Hamill returns as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Last Jedi which comes out this Dec. 15.
