Fan-Made Video Reimagines The Witcher with Samurai Jack Animation

With CD Projekt Red working on Cyberpunk 2077 and Netflix’s The Witcher not debuting in Netflix for a long time, it seems like fans will be without Geralt for a while. Sure, he will be in Soul Calibur VI but that won’t be the same as seeing him take on various monsters or finding out about conspiracies.

However, thanks to this fan-made animation, those that want to see Geralt take down a Griffin can now do so; Samurai Jack-style.

As can be seen, the animation is clearly mimicking Cartoon Network’s Samurai Jack and doing a fine job at it. The influence is pretty obvious, plus it’s called Samurai Witcher, which is a dead giveaway. Still, it’s a lovely piece of animation so fans of either series should check it out.

Griffins are actually one of the first monsters Geralt has to take down in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the best game in the series. It’s not too difficult to take down, with it being the first boss and all but it was a great way to get fans used to monster hunting.

Hopefully, we get more of these Samurai Witcher shorts. Fans who’ve beaten the games will need something to kill time before Netflix’s The Witcher series debuts.
