This year's May the 4th, a.k.a. Star Wars Day, will give fans more reasons to celebrate as this day just unleashed some new surprises from the set of Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Following Vanity Fair's new cover reveal featuring The Force Awakens characters yesterday, the magazine has released a behind-the-scenes video that gives us a closer look at the characters, including Adam Driver's villainous Kylo Ren and Lupita Nyongo'o's CGI space pirate. This is the first time we've seen Kylo Ren without his mask, confirming that Adam Driver will in fact, play the main villain. The video includes J.J. Abrams' insightful commentary and highlights the Annie Lieboviz's photo shoot from the set. Check out this video from Vanity Fair:

If you're one of the fans who are worried of the possibility that Jar Jar Binks would return in this film (especially after seeing the fan-made trailer The Blink Awakens), you'd probably be happy to hear J.J. Abrams is thinking of killing the CGI-Gungan in the magazine's tease of the upcoming story

“I have a thought about putting Jar Jar Binks’s bones in the desert there,” he joked while looking at footage in an editing bay. “I’m serious! Only three people will notice, but they’ll love it.”

Vanity Fair is not done with the Star Wars scoops: The magazine promises one more  character reveal on Tuesday at 4p.m. EST.
