Mortal Kombat Honest Trailer Pokes Fun at Fighters Who Can't Act and Actors Who Can't Fight


Video game adaptations usually suck. The Assassin's Creed movie is about to be released, so that probably motivated the team at Screen Junkies to create a Honest Trailer for the spectacular 1995 adaptation of Mortal Kombat, and the terrible 1997 sequel Mortal Kombat: Annhilation. Both films have fighters who can't act and actors who can't fight. As the hilarious video points out, the filmmakers generally did a fantastic job at bringing a lot of the fighting games' elements, and who can forget the epic theme song, "Mortal Kombat!" What's an Honest Trailer without highlighting its laughable elements? Of course, it points out the films' horrible CGI effects and Shan Tsung standing up. Watch the Honest Trailer below:
