Marvel's New Video Shows What Thor Was Up To During Captain America: Civil War

What the hell was the God of Thunder up to while his friends from the Avengers were at war with one another in Captain America: Civil War?

During the Marvel Studios at Comic-Con's Hall H in July, fans got to watch Thor's downtime while everyone else is taking up sides between Team Cap and Team Iron Man. Now, the video has been released online.

Director Taika Waititi didn't reveal any footage from next year's Thor: Ragnarok, but he had time to make a Thor mockumentary in the style of his vampire spoof, What We Do in the Shadows, with Chris Hemsworth interacting with a dorky roommate, Darryl, who helps him send peacemaking emails to Captain America and Iron Man during their Civil War conflict. The idea of the Thunder God moving into a small apartment with an office worker and repeatedly showing up to perster him at work is hilarious. It's also amusing how Thor has built a makeshift bed for his weapon, Mjolnir.

Thor doesn't have a phone so it was hard for him to stay in touch with his friends on Earth.  He suggests to "send a raven.”

“Am I disappointed that they didn’t invite me to fight with them?” Thor asks in the parody. “… No,” he answers softly. “I’ll just start my own team. Team Thor. And it will just be me. And Darryl.”

There's even a conspiracy theory bulleting board that Thor uses to figure out what the  “big purple guy” who “doesn’t like standing up” is trying to do with a Infinity Stones and a big golden glove.

We also see Thor have lunch with Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner, who complains he doesn’t understand why he keeps “waking up in cut-offs.”

Thor: Ragnarok will hit theaters on November 3, 2017.
