Magic: The Gathering Arena, the digital adaptation of Wizards of the Coast's popular card game, may still be in closed beta but it's expected to be released this September, and now thanks to Twitch and YouTube streamers online, the game is gaining more popularity and we'll most likely see more streamers share their gameplay once it gets officially released. But you don't have to wait to see some amusing clips from Arena.

YouTuber Myrefly was able to pull off an insane combo using Goblin Chainwhirler and he was able to deal 1 million damage to his opponent. Watch the video here:

How did he do it?

As you can in the video above, he sets up the combo by activating his Gideon of the Trials to give him an Emblem that prevents him from losing the game if there's a Gideon in the battlefield. Then he summons Demonlord Belzenok so he can trigger its enter-the-battlefield ability and get a bunch of cards to get the cards he needs to pull off the combo.

With Omniscience in play, he's able to play multiple copies of Swarm Intelligence and Doublecast to copy the Insult half of Insult/Injury multiple times before finishing it off with his Goblin Chainwhirler to obliterate his opponent. This almost feels like the Exodia (from Yu-Gi-Oh!) equivalent of Magic Arena.

This combo looks fun and all but it's too slow for competitive Standard. It's nice to see unique strategies like this discovered in Arena though. I'm sure we'll see more insane combos in future streamings of Arena
