Listen to the Amazing Sound Effects of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in This Epic Supercut

Star Wars will not be what it is today without the contemplative scores of John Williams. The same goes for the latest film in the franchise, The Force Awakens. The movie’s tone will not be the same without the legendary composer’s music for each of the characters and sequences.

However, while the franchise may be somewhat dependent on the tone and effect that its music brings about, sound effects also play a huge factor why the saga became a hallmark of innovation in the filmmaking industry.

This is what Vimeo user Zackery Ramos-Taylorfocused on in his The Force Awakens video. Ramos-Taylor compiled a handful of sound effects that can be found in the movie, reminding us of what made Star Wars an icon when it began almost 40 years ago.

Most of the sound effects in The Force Awakens may have been borrowed from past Star Wars movies, but the new sounds are certainly impressive as well.

The supercut that Zakery Ramos-Taylor created isn’t edited chronologically, but the effect that the sounds of R2-D2, BB-8, Rey, Kylo, Poe Dameron, spaceships, and a bunch of other characters and ships make still creates that desired effect of awe.

Take a look at the amazing supercut below:
