Learn How To Sideboard Effectively in Magic: The Gathering in This Video

In this episode of Tolarian Community College's Tolarian Tutor, the Professor teaches the fundamentals of sideboarding in Magic: The Gathering. The sideboard includes up to fifteen cards in addition to your main deck, and players can use them to modify their decks between each game. The Professor sums up the three reasons why we sideboard: put good cards in, take bad cards out, and augment cards that are already on our deck. The video also goes over transformational sideboarding, common mistakes players make when they sideboard, and sideboarding in Constructed and Limited formats. He also reminds players that they can sideboard to protect against their opponents' sideboards. While this video doesn't go deep into advanced techniques for sideboarding, it's an insightful guide that could help level-up a rookie's sideboarding skills.
