Did you know that Magic: The Gathering had some cheesy commercials back in the 90s? Four of them even aired during MTV's Motel California invitational event in 1997. The ads feature pro players back in the day like Shawn "Hammer" Regnier, Mike Long, Brian Hacker, and Mark Justice. Watching a player get girls after winning a game, and another player ripping his opponent's card off are things you probably will never see in an actual Magic tournament. The dialogues in these videos will also make you cringe. Watch them below:
