J.K. Rowling Thinks This Harry Potter Fan Theory is "Upsetting"

J.K. Rowling is usually more than happy to let Potterheads theorize about what should have or might have been in the Harry Potter books, but there's one theory that she just can't get on board with.

The theory, explained by Supercarlinbrothers on YouTube, is so dark that she can't be dealing with it, shutting it down for the benefit of her seven million Twitter followers.

The theory claims that Fawkes, Dumbledore's phoenix, was the Hogwarts headmaster's very own Horcrux.

Could the Headmaster have made a Horcrux when someone accidentally killed his little sister Ariana? The Youtubers claim that Dumbledore blames himself and believes his own ambition led to Ariana's death, so that probably led him to make Fawkes a Horcrux but Rowling is having none of it!
