Here's What A DC-Made Guardians of The Galaxy Would Probably Look Like

Though Warner Bros. has promised to add a bit more levity to the DC Expanded Universe, it seems like the budding comicbook film franchise has no intentions of letting go of its darker colors by keeping to the color palette director Zack Snyder established starting with Man of Steel.

Meanwhile, Marvel seems to be keeping to its winning formula of bright colors and a good dose of laughter for the rest of its films in the MCU. Not only is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 full of funny high jinks, but it seems like the studio’s decision to get Taika Waititi to direct Thor: Ragnarok has also given the film some serious comedy.

But what if, the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie followed DC’s dark tone?

Well, it seems like a short fan-made trailer posted by YouTube user Exploring the Internet tries to give a DC flair to the film. Check it out down here:

While it’s interesting how the Exploring the Internet managed to give a DC spin to the trailer with the selection of shots, transition effects and heavy music, the fan-made Guardians of the Galaxy preview is way too dark even for DC. It looks more like a trailer for a horror-film now, if anything else.

I’d rather stick to the original Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy and its raunchy sense of humor.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 premieres on May 6, 2017.
