Henry Cavill Shares BTS Video of Him Flying to Christopher Reeve's Superman Theme


Though Zack Snyder’s DCEU entries have been considered divisive to a lot of the fandom, A lot of people still agree that Henry Cavill was perfectly cast as Superman. With no news of a Man of Steel sequel in sight, Cavill has decided to share this fun BTS video of him flying to Christopher Reeve's Superman theme.

There have been rumors going around that Cavill has been keeping his schedule clear so he can have time to work on the Man of Steel sequel which has not been officially announced. Other than that, it’s also said that he will be making an appearance as Superman in 2019’s Shazam! movie.

With all the debates going on around the existing DCEU movies, the word “dull” and “brooding” have been used to describe Cavill’s Superman. Of course, some have come to realize that this isn’t really any of Cavill’s fault, as he was only following direction from Zack Snyder.

Superman was said to come to form in the Justice League movie, but after Snyder’s exit, it can be said that WB made some drastic changes to Superman’s arc. As of the release of JL, Cavill’s Superman has become all smiles and jokes—something that doesn’t sit well with some fans of the DCEU.

The Man of Steel sequel has not been announced, but there’s a possibility that Cavill will make an appearance as Superman in Shazam! which comes out April 5, 2019.
