Epic 'Dragon Ball Z' Live-Action Has Begun! 'Light of Hope' Episode 1 is Here!

Dragon Ball Z is the world-famous anime created by Akira Toriyama. I've watched this show since I was a kid, and it still remains one of the greatest animes ever made. The show follows the great Goku and his fellow Z-Warriors as they defend Earth from powerful enemies.

Fans have been asking for a live-action Dragon Ball Z film that would stay true to the series' spirit. Back in 2009, Fox released Dragon Ball: Evolution but it's a terrible adaptation that disappointed most fans. Last year, the nonprofit organization Robot Underdog shared a teaser, and it was much better than Fox's live-action film. Their storyline was meant to be an adaptation of The History of Trunks and with the leverage of a popular Indiegogo campaign, their aim was to use the pilot episode(s) as a pitch to Fox to continue the rest of the series or hopefully larger projects.
