Deadpool Voice Cameos In Honest Trailer For Logan

James Mangold’s Logan was a hit when it came out in February, and with the Blu-Ray coming out, ScreenJunkies on Youtube has made their 200th Honest Trailer all about Hugh Jackman’s last solo outing as Wolverine.

Just like the trailer, I agree that the movie is pretty hard to make fun of, and even a voice cameo from Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool couldn’t muster up the balls to pick Logan apart. But even if the movie does have a deep character study when it comes to Logan or Professor X, it was kind of hard to keep a straight face when X-23 started exploding at Wolverine with her angry Spansih.

To be honest, I thought the movie kind of lost its tone entering into the third act. It started out pretty well with just a few characters and Logan having his struggles, but the appearance of the Wolverine clone and the rest of the other mutant children made it feel just like another superhero bonanza. Should’ve just kept to the tone, Mangold.

Either way, it’s still a pretty good sendoff for Jackman. After 17 years and 9 movies, it was either time to hang up the claws or pass them on to someone else.

Logan is now available for Blu-Ray and DVD.
