Deadpool Deleted Scenes, Missing Jokes, and Rejected Characters

With its critical and commercial success, Deadpool was better than many of us expected, and although not a lot of us are complaining about what it's missing, there were a lot of things that didn't make the final cut. Whether some things were deemed too offensive or budgetary reasons, they were cut for some reason.

Mr. Sunday Movies summed up the film's deleted scenes, missing jokes, and rejected characters in his new video:

Deleted scenes included extensions of the ones that made it in the final cut, like the highway fight with Ajax and his crew, and the finale. There were two scenes that were completely cut from the film: The one in which Wade travels around the world to try to find a cute for his cancer.  When he approaches someone who claims they can, yet turns out to be a con, Wade rips out his heart. The second scene was a montage of Deadpool trying to kill himself multiple times in different ways.

Some villains like Taskmaster, Garrison Kane, and Sluggo were rumored to show up, but were probably cut for budgetary reasons. They also thought of including Wolverine in the film but due to scheduling issues, he didn't make it in the movie. However, as Mr. Sunday Movies points out, Hugh Jackman is open to the idea of Wolverine teaming up with Deadpool.

With Deadpool's impressive performance at the box office, the sequel will most likely get a bigger budget, and hopefully, they'll have more freedom to include more action sequences and villains.
