The Boys: Homelander Slaughters the Avengers in Twisted Video

If you've ever wondered how the Earth's Mightiest Heroes would fare against The Seven's sinister and cunning leader Homelander, this new fanmade video which has been making the rounds all over the internet imagines a dream showdown pitting the Avengers against just Homelander, and shockingly enough, our favorite Marvel heroes apparently don't stand a chance against him and things get really ugly in a hurry. The amazing fan edit, created by Gugga Leunnam sees the Avengers square off against Homelander and it's pretty darn convincing simply because he used the right clips and timed it perfectly. The video makes use of footage from Avengers: Age of Ultron's scene where Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Incredible Hulk, and Black Widow pay Hawkeye's Midwestern home a visit and The Boys Season 2's stunning finale episode. Towards the end of the perfectly timed edit, Homelander emerges from the villa all drenched in blood after he "slaughtered" all members of the Avengers in grand fashion. He then flies to get to the woods where he meets the Mad Titan Thanos and presumably, they go at it as well. Of course, a little suspension of disbelief is needed to appreciate the clip but still, it's pretty dark and twisted. Check out the video here:

The Boys Season 2 was pretty intense but of course, that's just the tip of the iceberg. Season 3 promises to take things up a notch as the already maniacal Homelander is said to undergo a mad transformation and he's set to become a "homicidal maniac". Meanwhile, on the Avenger side of things, I personally believe it's time for Marvel Studios to rethink their strategy for the upcoming MCU Phases as the oftentimes lighthearted tone of their films are getting a bit stale and not to mention predictable. It's time for Kevin Feige and crew to get out of their comfort zone and try a new formula for their next projects.
