Watch: How to Make a Movie-Accurate Mysterio Outfit from Spider-Man Far From Home

While there’s a lot to love about Spider-Man: Far From Home, one of the coolest things in the film is the comic-accurate Mysterio outfit. A lot of what brought the suit to life was CGI, but Black Zero Cosplay attempted to make a practical cosplay suit—complete with smoky head.

Check it out:

While I love how he goes into detail about how he made the rest of the suit, he skipped over what everyone was curious about—how does he breathe in the helmet? A lot of people in the comments section say that he’s just vaping in there, but some say there’s actually a smoke rig built in with a breathing tube. No explanation on how he can see though.

Personally, the look I really like for Mysterio is the mo-cap suit that Beck is wearing in the end. I really love how it’s still covered in triangles that could replicate the eyes in the superhero outfit, and it still comes with the fish bowl helmet. No doubt there’ll be some people cosplaying that outfit as well.

For now, Sony is waiting on Spider-Man: Far From Home to earn more than a billion before they move forward with their deal with Marvel. Good news is, the film has already earned more than $800 million and is probably going to reach that billion mark in a week. Hopefully, by then, we can get an announcement on when the next Spidey film will be.
