Watch: How Deadpool 2 Should have Ended

Deadpool 2 hits digital today, and it’s the right timing for HISHE on Youtube to drop their How Deadpool 2Should Have Ended video.

If you thought Deadpool 2 was already meta, this video actually goes the extra mile thanks to the lack of having to get studio rights. For one, the members of the X-Force are interchanged with more popular characters played by the actors, like with Bill Skarsgard playing Pennywise instead of Zeitgeist and Terry Crews playing himself from the Old Spice commercials.

The video also ups the 80s references by having Cable pull a Back to the Future on the real villain of the film, Eddie Marsan’s headmaster character. It kind of puts a hole in Cable’s plan since stopping the headmaster would have saved more mutants from the fate of Russell. Then again, Cable’s time-jump was more of a personal journey than a journey to save the rest of mutantkind.

Deadpool 2 was a huge hit, and no doubt we’re going to be seeing more of this ensemble in the future. For now, Reynolds and the cast are gearing up for an X-Force movie, but a lot of people are wondering how that would work after the Disney/Fox merger. Hopefully we get an update once everything is finalized next year.
