ArhyBES hit it big with their Batmetal videos on Youtube. It’s been two years since the last Batmetal video, but fans can rejoice as Batmetal Forever has finally hit the net, and it is hilarious.
The video takes another Dethklok song Awaken, and has Batman and his Bat-family attempting to resurrect the Joker. This time around, the Batman is joined by Robins Damien Wayne and Red Robin, and most prominently Batgirl who has put this video on a whole new level of NSFW.
Like all the other Batmetal vids, Batmetal Forever mixes pop-culture references with hilarious Batman lore. We get glimpses of the villains in the Arkham games as well as some non-Batman related materials like Overwatch and the Nintendo Switch. The video is self-references the animators’ Jack Black Mutant Ninja Turtles video at the very beginning.
We don’t know when the next Batmetal is going to come out, but a lot of people are certainly happy to see the animators back. They have a very specific sense of humor, and it’s always fun to see two great thing mashed up together—Batman and Metal.
