The Entire Marvel Cinematic Universe Gets a 9-Minute Honest Trailer

Marvel Studios had hit a milestone when it came to Avengers: Endgame, and with their 300th Honest Trailer, Screen Junkies has decided to release a 9-minute take on the entirety of the MCU (minus Endgame).

In a world where a bankrupt comic book company sold the film rights to its best characters for peanuts because they thought movies would be a good way to *snicker* sell more comics, a young executive will do what he can with the rejects that no one wanted, and do so well that they get bought out by Disney before it was cool—The Marvel Cinematic Universe (except for Endgame).

With a lot of people saying that MCU films have become formulaic, Screen Junkies has gone on to point every stereotype that the Marvel movies have been including from the likable quipsters to the uptight military types. There’s also this fun compilations of people talking about magic being science and asking, “Do you know how to fly this thing?”

There’s also an interesting breakdown of the three MCU phases where the first one was pretty conventional, the second one pushed new boundaries, and the third one just had Marvel going all out with their IP.

The trailer also pokes fun at the other cinematic franchises trying to replicate what Marvel did to no success. As of now, Marvel is at the top of the cinematic universe food chain, and not even DC has bee able to topple that status.

For now, the next MCU film is Spider-Man: Far from Home which comes out July 2.
