Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures: Yoda vs Dooku Re-Imagined as Anime

There are a lot of Star Wars miniseries that add to the lore of the new canon, and the latest one to come out is a web show called Star Wars: Galaxy of Adventures. The show basically re-imagines scenes from the films in an anime-style, and their latest ep revisits the duel between Yoda and Count Dooku in Attack of the Clones.

Yoda battles his former apprentice, Count Dooku, and proves that he is a powerful Jedi despite his small stature.

Last year there was news of an anime-inspired Star Wars series and everyone thought it was going to be Star Wars Resistance. While Resistance was more of its own style rather than anime, Galaxy of Adventures seems to be the one that fit the description rather well. I was hoping for a whole new series, but I guess these shorts are fun too.

Besides, if this style gets popular enough, maybe Lucasfilm will actually dish out for a full animated series that looks like this. Personally, I’d love for them to team up with the same animators of Legend of Korra and Voltron: Legendary Defender.

A lot of people were expecting at least a small Star Wars Episode IX teaser during the SuperBowl but were disappointed that nothing dropped. If you’ve been following the news, we’ll probably get our first teaser at Celebration 2019 which takes place in April. Maybe they can give us a title reveal this month?

Star Wars Episode IX comes out Dec. 20.
