Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse Honest Trailer Brings in Multiple Epic Voices

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse came out as one of the most beloved superhero films from last year, and though the Blu-Ray has been out for a while, it’s only now that Screen Junkies has decided to release their Honest Trailer take for the movie.

To be a bit more creative with their take, Screen Junkies also got several other people to voice “alternate universe” versions of the Epic Voice Guy. Just in case you’re curious, the other actors that were brought in were Felicia Day (Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog), Matt Mercer (Overwatch), Vanessa Gritton (a Screen Junkies regular), and Mr. Sunday Movies (from Youtube).

Admittedly, the movie doesn’t really get into the nitty-gritty flaws of Into the Spider-Verse at all, but it does point out some funny coincidences like how every animated movie seems to have a character image with one eyebrow raised. Hopefully, Sony does catch this trailer and try to adapt the Scarlet Spider storyline sometime in the future.

For now, Sony is planning multiple spinoffs to Spider-Verse including a straight up sequel as well as an all-woman team-up with Spider-Gwen. Rumor even has it that Spider-Noir is getting his own movie as well as Spider-Ham with an animated series.

Hopefully, Sony gives us an update on the animated films within the year. Though Venom was a critical bomb, I love the direction they’re going with Spider-Verse. More of this, please.

The next Spider-Man movie coming out is Far from Home which is slated for a release on July 5.
