Ron Howard Narrates Star Wars a la Arrested Development

From Happy Days to Apollo 13, Ron Howard can be known for a lot of things, but one role that everyone seems to remember the best is Howard being the narrator of cult show Arrested Development. In a fun bit from Lucasfilm, Howard lends his voice to a re-edit of Star Wars in the style of AD.

Check it out:

While Star Wars fans could be scoffing at how many plot points Howard spoils in the narration, Arrested Development fans will love all the references put into the video, from the signature music to the part where Howard teases Empire Strikes Back. The video even pokes fun at some plot points that make no sense with the prequels like Obi-Wan not remembering R2-D2 or him saying Anakin was a good friend.

The way Howard is on social media, he’s actually a good sport when it comes to making things for the fans. He’s like a mirror opposite of original Han Solo Harrison Ford, who would love nothing but to forget the character and make everyone move on.

Though some fans were worried about Solo earlier this year, it looks like Howard knocked this project out of the park. I can’t wait to catch Solo: A Star Wars Story in theaters May 25.
