Jabba the Hutt Takes the Spotlight in New Star Wars: Galaxy of Adventures Episode

If you haven’t checked out Star Wars: Galaxy of Adventures on Youtube, then you’re missing out. This fun web series gives a special anime twist to scenes from the original Star Wars films. The latest gives us a look at notorious gangster Jabba the Hutt.

Despite taking center stage in Return of the Jedi, Jabba has been the main figure in Tatooine since A New Hope. He’s the one who put a price on Han Solo’s head, and we basically just heard about him the entire trilogy until we met Jabba in the flesh in RotJ (that is if you don’t count the special editions).

Jabba had a more minor role in the prequels, but everyone knows about the notorious Hutt clan and just how powerful they can be.

If you’ve watched Solo: A Star Wars Story, you’ll know that the film ends with Han and Chewie flying off to Tatooine to likely incur their infamous debt with Jabba. We don’t know what would have happened in the film, but I was hoping that Han would be teamed up with several bounty hunters—including the infamous Boba Fett. For now, it looks like Lucasfilm has put the film on hold, and it’s been rumored that they are retooling it to become a series for Disney+.

There are regular episodes of Star Wars: Galaxy of Adventures released on Youtube, but for the next big Star Wars film, you can catch The Rise of Skywalker in theaters Dec. 20.
