Honest Trailers: Nobody Cares About Terminator Dark Fate

Terminator: Dark Fate had infamously flopped in the box office, and it looks like it’s going to be a while before we come back to the story of Skynet and the Connors. What’s fun is, Screen Junkies has released their Honest Trailer take on the film, and it pulls back no punches.

After Terminator 3 let you down; Salvation left you bored, and Genisys had you wondering what you’ve done to deserve this, they finally made a decent Terminator movie, only now, no one gives a shit. You’d think out of all the franchises, this one would have a better sense of timing.

Like the trailer said, the movie was actually pretty decent, but after three poorly received films, it looks like the main audience isn’t going to start caring anytime soon. Personally, I thought the film was fun, but I guess it’s a franchise that I don’t take too seriously. It kind of funny to see Dani lead the resistance in the future, seeing that she’s so small, and didn’t look like she aged significantly. The reason that ‘Carl’ is also a good guy now is also kind of flimsy, but he’s fun in every scene that he’s in.

While the movie flopped, I still thought there were some great action scenes. Diego Luna and Mackenzie Davis gave it their all, and I think it’s a good continuation to the Terminator story. Too bad it looks like they’re going to scrap this one again. I think it’s best to see how this movie does with its home release then just push forward from there. These reboots are getting silly.

Terminator: Dark Fate is now available for digital and Blu-Ray/DVD.
