Back when it was announced that a new Indiana Jones movie was underway, a lot of people were wondering who was going to be the new Indy, seeing that Harrison Ford was well into his 70s. One favorite fancast was Guardians of the Galaxy’s Chris Pratt, and we have a new DeepFake video that actually puts Pratt in the Indy films.

This comes from Shamook on Youtube:

Chris Pratt would be a perfect candidate for a Indiana Jones reboot, what do you think?

Taking images of Chris Pratt from other films, we were able to create a facial profile containing 5,000 HD photos of him. Then using deep fakes technology we can teach it to learn how to transfer his likeness onto Harrison Ford and create a completely new image never seen before.

As you can see the tech is amazing, and Pratt has been flawlessly added into the films. Of course, there’s no way they can just change the voice, but this gives us a good look at what Pratt could look like, running around in a fedora hunting for treasure.

For now, Steven Spielberg is still set on making a fifth Indiana Jones movie and Harrison Ford is expected to return. While the torch was supposedly passed on to Shia LaBeouf way back in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, it looks like Lucasfilm will have to find another successor, what with LeBeouf having moved on from the franchise.

Indiana Jones 5 is set for a release on July 29, 2022.
