Catch Honest Trailer for How to Train Your Dragon Before The Final Movie Comes Out

The How to Train Your Dragon franchise is set to end later this month, and Screen Junkies has released their Honest Trailer take for the first two films.

Everything will change when Hiccup meets Toothless, a dragon crossed with all your favorite cat videos. They’ll prove that working together makes people stronger, and their friendship will transform Berk from a land that used to hate and fear dragons to one that uses them for Quidditch or something.

Though Dreamworks has always somewhat been the competitor to Disney when it comes to animation, their newer franchises haven’t been as stellar as of late—save for HTTYD. It’s very fascinating that Hiccup has grown along with the audience through the years, with the franchise starting with him being a young boy to the latest movie which will see him as a full grown man.

The trailer also makes a jab at the fantasy genre in general. Besides Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings, Hollywood hasn’t been able to pump out any noteworthy fantasy epics on the big screen. Sure Game of Thrones is pretty fun, but that’s not something you’d want to watch with the whole family.

From DreamWorks Animation comes a surprising tale about growing up, finding the courage to face the unknown…and how nothing can ever train you to let go. What began as an unlikely friendship between an adolescent Viking and a fearsome Night Fury dragon has become an epic adventure spanning their lives. Welcome to the most astonishing chapter of one of the most beloved animated franchises in film history: How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. Now chief and ruler of Berk alongside Astrid, Hiccup has created a gloriously chaotic dragon utopia. When the sudden appearance of female Light Fury coincides with the darkest threat their village has ever faced, Hiccup and Toothless must leave the only home they’ve known and journey to a hidden world thought only to exist in myth. As their true destinies are revealed, dragon and rider will fight together—to the very ends of the Earth—to protect everything they’ve grown to treasure.

How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World hits theaters Feb. 22.
