Batman Makes The Moves on Batgirl in New The Lego Batman Movie TV Spot

Warner Bros. really is pushing the whole Batman – Batgirl pairing again, this time in The Lego Batman Movie.

Last year DC and Warner Bros. released the animated film adaptation of Alan Moore’s critically-acclaimed Batman: The Killing Joke graphic novel, and though many were looking forward to the film’s success, the film raked in mixed reviews from fans and critics who felt that the non-canon prologue and it’s romantic portrayal of Batgirl didn’t serve the movie well.  Now the studios are trying their hand at another Batman-Batgirl set-up in the highly anticipated The Lego Batman Movie.

A new TV spot for the film has just been released, and in it we get to see a love-stricken Bruce Wayne  trying to put the moves on Barbara Gordon. Though it doesn’t seem like Barbara’s playing Batgirl in any of the clips, we all get the picture. Thankfully Commission Gordon’s daughter seems to be a bit more mature in The Lego Batman Movie, so a pairing between the two might not be as bad as the one in The Killing Joke. Check out the new TV spot for yourself down here:

The Lego Batman Movie is set for release on the big screen on February 10.
