Avengers: Infinity War was so doubt the biggest movie that came out this year, and with the digital release out of the way, Screen Junkies has now come up with their Honest take of the film with a new Honest Trailer.
Journey into a new era of the MCU, where after ten years of having to streamline their plot so normies would know what’s happening, Marvel’s gotten so big they’ll drop you right into Episode 19, Part One of Two, without wasting a second on who anyone is or why you should care; because let’s face it, either you’re on this hype train by now, or the Winter Soldier using Rocket Raccoon as a sidearm won’t mean shit to you.
Having followed the MCU since the first Iron Man, it’s kind of hard to imagine how the movies would make sense for someone who’s jumping in on them now. Newcomers may not understand what’s happening with Infinity War, but it sure is a real treat for anyone who has been following the movies for the past ten years.
Also, the trailer points out how much things are brushed off by characters, like Tony Stark discovering magic and Star-Lord finding out that Xandar was destroyed. Honestly, I can give the film a pass for this, since so many things are going on, it’s a miracle the film makes as much sense as it does.
The Russo Brothers managed to wow everyone with Avengers: Infinity War, and everyone can’t wait to see how they conclude Thanos’ arc with Avengers 4 next year. Catch it May 3, 2019.
