Ant-Man Meets Captain America for the First Time in New Civil War Clip

Captain America: Civil War has been described by the Russo brothers as a kind of psychological thriller, so it’s expected that the upcoming Marvel film will involve some pretty intense scenes. However, that doesn’t mean that the highly anticipated movie won’t have any humor thrown into the mix.

One character from the Avengers who we know will undoubtedly bring that aspect is Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man. In a new Civil War clip featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live, we get to see Scott Lang being recruited into Team Cap, and it turns out he is quite the fanboy. Ant-Man is shown nervous and excited as he meets Captain America for the first time, that he couldn’t stop shaking Steve Rogers’ hand.

Take a look:

I can’t really blame Ant-Man for reacting in such a way. I’d probably have the same reaction if I meet Captain America for the first time, maybe even after five times.

It’s worth noting that the clip above takes place in a parking garage. It could be near where the big fight scene between Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will take place, that airport tarmac in Germany. It also appears that Scott Lang was pulled by Hawkeye from his home in San Francisco unexpectedly, although Scott doesn’t seem to mind. It begs the question though of why Team Cap seems pretty assured that Ant-Man will join them.

I guess being a fanboy answers that.
