70 Fun Facts We Learned from the Star Wars The Last Jedi Novelization

Though Star Wars: The Last Jedi is critically acclaimed, the movie is without a doubt not perfect, and has a lot of plotholes that  fans pored over endlessly. The novelization of The Last Jedi, however, expands on the full story of the film, and even adds some elements that would try and fix any fan’s qualms with the plot.

Here’s 70 Fun Facts via Star Wars Explained on Youtube.

Beside the little nods to other books in canon, it’s also nice to hear about character motivations and get mentions on faces we didn’t get to see. We also get some explanations on why Admiral Holdo wouldn’t share her plan with Poe or why Ben Solo grew to resent his parents. I also think it’s hilarious that the whole time, Poe thought that Rey was a man.

It’s always fun to peel back layers and have more meat to the story, and it looks like author Jason Fry did his research, especially when it comes to connecting to other books in the canon.
