Rey or Luke Will Likely Become Gray Jedi, According to the 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Trailer

The new Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer hints that Luke or Rey will probably be Gray Jedi. The Gray Jedi believe in balance of the Force; whereas Jedi and Sith are on polar extremes between passion and detachment. The iconic symbol shown below from the trailer would seem to indicate so:

If Luke or Rey end up as Gray Jedi, using philosophies of both sides of the Force, it could really mean the end of the Jedi, as suggested by the movie title. Or, at least the kind of Jedi that base their principles on detachment, harmony, and order; which Anakin Skywalker seemed to have a lot of problems with before turning to the dark side.

We also see symbolism in the poster, which could indicate Rey is actually the Gray Jedi, and not Luke. You see Luke and Kylo opposed and split by (now) Rey's lightsaber. She stands in the middle as though a great divider between the protagonist and antagonist. Is it possible she binds both of them together to reconcile two polar parts of the Force? Or will the collision bring them all down together?
