Zeraora Trailer Revealed for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon

It's a secret no more. Zeraora is officially the next mythical monster coming to Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. This new beast will also be appearing in this year's Pokemon the Movie: Everyone's Story, which also involves Lugia so fans of the anime or the new continuity that started with I Choose You have this to look forward to.

As the trailer above shows, Zeraora is an electric-type Pokemon. Unfortunately, more details for the creature haven't been revealed, so fans will have to wait for that. The new footage only shows what the Pokemon will look like and some of its mannerisms, though we don't see it attack anything.

Here's what the official Pokemon website had to say about the new mythical beast:

The Mythical Pokémon Zeraora appears like a thunderbolt! This Pokémon creates a powerful magnetic field by emitting strong electric currents from the pads on its hands and feet. It can use this magnetic field to levitate and move through the air at high speed. Its max speed is said to be about the same as that of a lightning strike. Unlike most Electric-type Pokémon, it doesn't have an organ within its body that can produce electricity. However, it is able to gather and store electricity from outside sources, then use it as its own electric energy. When it uses massive amounts of electricity, its fur stands on end all over its body.

Zeraora will likely be a Gift Pokemon and will probably be given away to 3DS players during promotion for Everyone's Story, which comes out this July. Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are available now for the 3DS.
