Zack Snyder's Justice League Was 3 Hours

Justice League continues to be a mixed bag with audiences, but DCEU fans feel a director's cut that would be 100% Zack Snyder's could save it. A petition for the 300 director's version of the flick has reached more than 100,000 signees, so it's clear that these fans want to see what Zack Snyder had planned for it. If this cut does get a home release in the near future, fans better buckle up and prepare some junk food, because it is reportedly three hours.

Beyond The Trailer's Grace Randolph discussed her top-secret visit to the studio and revealed that Snyder's first draft of the film was three hours long. Apparently, this version of the film was screened to Warner Bros. executives before the decision was made to cut the film to two hours. Unlike the director's cut/ultimate edition of Suicide Squad, this version of the superhero movie wouldn't take much work.

If all of this is true, it will make Snyder's very vocal fanbase louder for this version of the film. While they did appreciate the cut seen in theaters, they felt that Joss Whedon's involvement was a bit of a detriment. In fairness to all involved, Whedon was brought in to do reshoots and Snyder did have to deal with a tragic death in the family.

Justice League is showing in theaters now. If the studio gives in to fan demand, we could get a Justice League: Ultimate Edition soon.
