Aside from Jack Sparrow, the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise is probably best known for its gallery of interesting villains, and more of Captain Salazar's (Javier Bardem) origin is explored in a brand new trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
The story looks to continue where On Stranger Tides left off, and Jack (Johnny Depp) is still trying to recollect his crew as well as the Black Pearl which is still stuck in Blackbeard's bottle. What's more is, Captain Salazar's character is revealed to have an intense hate for pirates, and Jack was the very reason that him and his crew ended up dead.
I'm way more hyped for the movie now that this new trailer's come out! After the lukewarm reception of On Stranger Tides, I'm ready for another swashbuckling adventure with Captain Jack and his crew. I thought the last movie was a bit lacking since the rest of the characters like Ragetti, Pintel, and Marty were missing, and the chemistry with all the actors is what helps bring the movies together.
I should also note that the trailer also comes with the tagline, "The Final Adventure Begins" You think Disney is finally putting the franchise to rest?
