X-Men: Dark Phoenix Actress Sophie Turner Is Hoping To Become Part Of The Avengers

It looks like X-Men: Dark Phoenix's lead star Sophie Turner is hoping that she can hop on to the bus heading to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and join the Avengers someday.

The deal might not be final yet, but Disney's been working at acquiring the 21st Century Fox and its film and television assets, making Marvel fans hope that the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and all the other mutants might be able to join the MCU.

Speaking in an interview with the Digital Spy, Game of Thrones and X-Men actress Sophie Turner was asked if there was any other superhero she'd like to meet once the mutants finally get the chance to join the MCU and it looks like Fox's new Jean Grey is hoping to be part of the Avengers.

"Ooh, that's a good question. Which Marvel hero would I like to meet? Iron Man, probably, because he's so badass. Or… oh, God, I don't know. All of them. All would be pretty awesome. I don't know. There's so many," the actress gushed. "Just all of the Avengers, basically. I just want to be another Avenger."

It isn't a surprise that Turner would want to become part of the Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Who wouldn't want a piece of all the action Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and all the other members of the Avengers get in the MCU?

Hopefully, this merger between Disney and Fox pushes through, giving the mutants a chance to join the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy in their many adventures defending the Earth and the universe.

Marvel's most recent film, Ant-Man and the Wasp, is currently screening in cinemas.
