It looks like Warner Bros. has decided to move up the release date of the Wonder Woman sequel.

Instead of setting up the film for release on December 13, 2019, Deadline reports that the studio has decided to move Wonder Woman's release date six weeks earlier, scheduling it for a November 1, 2019 release. This new date leaves the Wonder Woman sequel without any competition.

The publication has also clarified the rumors that Gal Gadot was refusing to sign on to the second Wonder Woman solo installment unless Warner Bros. decides to cut ties with Brett Ratner.

Yesterday word came out that a studio insider said that Brett had made a lot of money out of the success of Wonder Woman and Gadot was holding up on Wonder Woman 2 until Warner Bros. gets rid of Ratner.

However, these reports are said to be false. Gadot has already been locked to star in the Wonder Woman sequel and talks between the actress and the studios' executives haven't soured in regard to Ratner. Also, Ratner's RatPac Dune isn't at all committed to finance Wonder Woman 2, since its work with Warner Bros. ends after the release of Rampage on April 20 next year. Ratner also wasn't listed as a producer for the original Wonder Woman – Ratpac was simply a passive financier of the project.

There's no stopping Wonder Woman 2 after Patty Jenkin's massively successful superhero origin movie.

Wonder Woman 2 hits cinemas November 1, 2019. While that might seem a long while, Diana's fans are still going to get to see her in Justice League this Friday, November 17, 2017.
