We're about 10 months away from Wolverine III's theaterical release, but not much has been revealed about the project other than the fact that it's Hugh Jackman's last film as the Wolverine and that it will be based on the Old Man Logan storyline from the comic books, which would feature a Wolverine in the future attempting to live a somewhat normal life in a world dominated by supervillains, and that it's aiming for an R-rating. Some actors like Stephen Merchant, Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, and Eriq Lasalle have been confirmed to be involved but we still don't know which roles they'll be playing, but now we might have an idea what villains Logan will be facing in Wolverine III.
According to Nerdist's source, the film's villains will be Reavers, cyborgs created to eliminate mutants, but no details have been leaked about who created the Reavers and who's controlling them
Wolverine III, directed by James Mangol, is filming in New Orleans, and is set to release on March 3, 2017. Wolverine will appear in X-Men: Apocalypse, which will hit US theaters on May 27, 2016.
