Why Sansa Could Really Be Pregnant After All in Game of Thrones Season 6

Game of Thrones Season 6 is the first season in the hit HBO series that isn't based on George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire novels, since he's still finishing the next book in the series, Winds of Winter. Even though the author has given showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss some juicy twists from the book after some probing, fans still have totally no idea about what's to come.

Because of this, some fans have come up with several crazy theories over the past couple of weeks, like this one about Rickon's direwolf, Shaggydog, which has been already disproved by Rickon actor Art Parkinson.

Well, one theory, which seemed a little f—ucked up before but is now totally possible, is the one involving Sansa Stark and Ramsay Bolton, who raped her at the eve of their wedding while Theon Greyjoy was forced to watch.

According to the theory, Sansa is now carrying Ramsay's child. The theory came up after news surfaced that photos from the set of Game of Thrones Season 6 showed Sophie Turner's character with a baby bump.

As pointed out by Cinema Blend, this theory didn't gain much attention at the time since fans were more focused on the return of Kit Harrington's Jon Snow. Well, the site has brought up the theory once again because of the latest episode in the series, Episode 5 titled The Door.

It's the scene between Sansa and Littlefinger, who's caught off guard with her revelation (which actor Aidan Gillen said is a new side of his character) that caught their attention. Particularly, it's these lines from Sansa:

I can still feel it. I don't mean in my tender heart it still pains me so. I can still feel what he did in my body, standing here right now.

Of course, Sansa could simply mean that she just can't get the feeling of being raped out of her system. Then again, the lines also make it seem like she's referring to more than just a memory of that horrific night.

There is other evidence during the past episodes that would also suggest this theory is true. Following Ramsay's abuse, Sansa began wearing less-than-flattering clothing. While this is obviously because of the cold weather, other female characters, like say, Melisandre, has worn flattering winter clothes.

In addition, her making a new outfit for herself and Jon could mean that her body's starting to grow, and she definitely needed a new set of clothes that would fit her.

It all seems f—ucked up when you think about it, and knowing Game of Thrones' penchant for shocking twists, it doesn't surprise me if this is true at all. Turner did say in an interview once that the new Sansa isn't taking shit from anyone. She also teased how the new season will be a completely different side of her. I'm thinking maybe her motherly side?

That said, the showrunners have revealed that Martin revealed 3 shocking twists when they sat down with him. We already saw the first two, and the final one could be, or could not be Sansa's pregnancy. There's still this other mind-blowing theory about Bran.
