Star Wars Episode IX is set to start shooting in a few days, and a lot of people online are scrambling for any kind of update on the movie. People are taking a close look at the actors as well and are thinking that their current appearance could hint at their characters' final looks in the movie.

A lot of people are curious about Mark Hamill for having his beard shaved, and some think that this could mean a change of appearance come Luke's Force Ghost. John Boyega had also confirmed earlier this year that he was made to grow his hair out so there would be a sense of time passing once the movie hit theaters.
Adam Driver's hair is also notably short. With Kylo now the Supreme Leader, I think that it would make sense for him to want to look more presentable in front of the troops. Then again, they could just give him a wig or extensions when they start the film.
The one with the least difference of all of them is Daisy Ridley. Most likely we'll still see Rey sporting her triple bun. But who knows, things could change. After all, how are they supposed to sell Episode IX toys without a significant costume change from the characters?
Hopefully we get a first look at the film before the year ends. For now, all we can do is wait.
