Watch the Spider-Man: Homecoming VR Experience Trailer

It seems lie VR experiences are starting to pick up among gamers and casual tech enthusiasts.

Just recently, we've heard about The Walking Dead VR experience, which will put players smack dab in the middle of the post-apocalyptic world of the series and facing off walkers. Now, we have another one, but for a movie this time.

Sony Pictures Virtual Reality has released the new trailer for the Spider-Man: Homecoming VR experience. And it's the kind of VR tour that pretty much anyone who had fantasized to become Spider-Man can hope for: a day in the shoes of Spidey.

In the VR experience, players can shoot webs, fling objects using said webs, go from building to building the web-slinger way, and even face-off against Spidey's enemy in the movie, Vulture. I think the most awesome thing about the experience is that you're essentially playing around with the suit from Tony Stark, complete with tech and Siri-like voiceover that instructs you on what to do when you have the suit on. Awesome!

The trailer also sees Tom Holland being cheeky and adorkable, as he tries to entice you to enjoy the Spider-Man: Homecoming VR Experience.

"Congratulations. It looks like you've been given an extremely rare opportunity, the chance to experience what it's like to be me. Trust me, it's awesome—awesome to be Spider-Man, I mean. Not that being Peter Parker is bad or anything, it just comes with some social awkwardness… But before you begin, the suit is not indestructible, so be careful out there. And please, please, please bring it back clean."

The experience honestly looks awesome. For anyone who ever wanted to really have that immersive ride on becoming your friendly neighborhood web-slinger, this is definitely your chance. Of course, you would need to get any of the VR platforms currently in the market, including the PSVR, Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive.

It will come out on June 30, but for those who want to try it out before buying, the experience is available for a firsthand spin at select Cinemark Theaters.

Spider-Man: Homecoming will be out in theaters on July 7.
